R Marine SA Ladies Skippers Workshop

Riviera members enjoyed a Ladies Skipper Workshop hosted by R Marine SA.
The workshop was held exclusively for women who wish to learn more about skippering their vessel. The program covered safety requirements, knot tying, rope work, fenders and some hands on skippering.
We want all our lady owners to have the necessary confidence when it comes to skippering to ensure their full enjoyment of boating, which is why this program is so important.
The program is designed to give them the knowledge to confidently drive their own Rivieras. If for some reason the usual skipper is ill or injured, then other members on board can confidently navigate back to the marina.
This program was a huge success and we are encouraging our lady skippers to book early for the next one.
